SUMBA TOUR TAMBOLAKA - WAINGAPU
04 DAYS 03 NIGHT
DAY 1 : TRANSFER IN TAMBOLAKA – BUDAYA HOUSE – LENDONGARA HILL – MANANGA BEACH / KITA BEACH
When you arrive at Tambolaka Airport, you will meet and be greeted by our guide. Start your journey in Sumba by visiting Budaya House. Here, you will learn the history of Sumba. Then we will make our way to Lendongara Hill to admire the beautiful view of the green rolling hills just like the kids TV series Teletubbies. Finally, we will end the day by heading to Mananga Aba beach or Kita Beach. At this beach, you will have the chance to enjoy the calm and tranquil ambience of the pristine white beach. Check into the hotel to rest.
DAY 2: WAEKURI LAGOON – RATENGGARO VILLAGE – MANDORAK BEACH – BAWANA BEACH - MAHERA CAPE (B)
After breakfast, we will directly make our way to Waekuri Lagoon. The huge lake is one of Sumba's famous attractions and its water is brackish - both salty and fresh. Then drive to Ratenggaro village, the presence of ancient tomb stone and traditional beach, with Mandorak Beach background. Continue to Mareha Cape. Here you can enjoy your time at two beautiful beaches which are Watu Maladong Beach and Bwana Beach respectively.
DAY 3: PRAIJING VILLAGE – LAPOPU WATERFALL – WAIRIDING HILL – WALAKIRI BEACH (B)
After breakfast, you will be checked out from hotel and immediately make our way to Praijing Village. Praijing Village is the most famous cultural village in West Sumba. You will see 38 traditional Sumba houses at the village. Then, we will head to Lapopu Waterfall which is the tallest waterfal in the whole province. After, we will make our way to Wairinding hill where you can enjoy the view of East Sumba from a height. The Savanna is an exquisite view of yellow grasses during the dry seasons and green during the wet seasons. Finally, we will visit Walakiri Beach. Here, you will be greeted with another beautiful white sand beach, tall coconut trees along the shoreline, and the magnificent vast blue sea. At the west, you also can see the mangrove forest - which is one of the best photo spot in the island. End the day by checking in to the East Sumba hotel.
DAY 4: PERSUDARAAN HILL – TRANSFER OUT WAINGAPU
After checking out, you will be taken to a souvenir shop with iconic and traditional Sumbanese gifts. Then, we will drive to Persaudaraan Hill. Here you can see the lovely view of the hills and the local's paddy fields. Finally, you will be sent to the airport and end your marvelous journey in Sumba.
